Dr. Mani Habibi, a graduate of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2009, embarked on a transformative journey that has defined his career. From 2009 to 2015, he honed his skills through residency training at Antalya Training and Research Hospital, eventually earning the title of general surgery specialist. It was during this period that Dr. Habibi’s passion for obesity surgery began to flourish.
In 2012, he seized the opportunity to refine his expertise under the mentorship of Prof. Raul Rosenthal at Weston Hospital, Cleveland Clinic. This invaluable experience not only deepened his understanding of obesity surgery but also fueled his commitment to excellence in patient care.
Following his residency, Dr. Habibi fulfilled his mandatory service duty in Istanbul, where he collaborated with esteemed obesity surgeons, further enriching his knowledge and skill set.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field, Dr. Habibi was honored with the fellowship award by EAES in 2018. This prestigious accolade provided him with the opportunity to undergo a rigorous 3-month fellowship training program under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. Cataline Copaescu.
After completing the fellowship program, Dr. Habibi and his team embarked on a new chapter in Antalya, focusing on obesity surgery alongside Prof. Nurullah Bulbuller. In 2020, they established NewMe Health Clinic, driven by the shared vision of achieving excellence in health tourism through meticulous patient care and a commitment to innovation.
Dr. Habibi’s dedication extends beyond borders, as he welcomes patients from various countries worldwide. Proficient in English, he specializes particularly in advanced laparoscopic surgery and obesity surgery, with numerous articles published in national and international journals.
